Alex Pyun is a Junior at LaGuardia High School for Music & Art and the Performing Arts. He was accepted into Juilliard Precollege and currently studies with Lorraine Nubar. Alex Pyun has been a member of the Young People's Chorus of New York City, performing at venues such as Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, United Theater Palace, and David Geffen Hall. During his freshman year, Alex was a semi-finalist for the CS Music Convention. Additionally, he was accepted into the Manhattan School of Music Precollege and attended the Boston Tanglewood Institute Young Artist Vocal Program (BUTI). In his sophomore year, Alex won the Most Promising Sophomore Award at the Schmidt Vocal Competition in Montclair and was accepted into Juilliard Precollege, where he currently now studies with Lorraine Nubar.
