Evan Shields

• Evan Scott Shields, is a Freshman at New York University's school of Steinhardt majoring in Vocal Performance: Music Theater where he studies in the studio of Dr. Justin John Moniz.
• Evan has participated in numerous Musical Theatre productions. Most recently he performed in NYU's Spring production of Maury Yeston's Titanic (Harold Bride), the Fall NYU Broadway Orchestra's concert production of Kurt Weill's Street Scene (George Jones), and the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival's 2023 production of Sondheim's Into The Woods (Jack). Evan will be performing in the upcoming Spring opera at NYU - Gianni Schicchi (Maestro Spinellocio) and the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival's 2024 production of Little Women (Laurie) in July.
• He recently competed and won the 2024 NATS Eastern Region Lower College Musical Theatre Category; 2023 New York City Chapter NATS competition (2nd Musical Theatre Lower College); 2022 CS Music Competition in Chicago where he made it to Semifinals in both Classical and Musical Theatre. He attended the Kennedy Center's 2021 Washington National Opera Institute where he studied as a tenor/countertenor.

Evan is 19 years old based out of New York City and the Washington D.C., DMV area. He is a proficient multi-instrumentalist and vocalist in multiple styles. @escottshields (Instagram)
