Baritone Robert-Heepyoung, Oh, native of Pusan, Korea. He was a Resident Artist at the Tri-Cities Opera (2011~2014). Mr. Oh received a Bachelor of Music degree in voice from the Korea National University of Arts, Master of Music in Opera from SUNY Binghamton University. His most recent appearance opera was a title role in Rigoletto, Escamillo in Carmen, Germont in La Traviata with New Jersey Verismo Opera and Amore Opera. Conte di Luna in Il Trovatore, Duca di Nottingham in Roberto Devereux, Scarpia in Tosca, Germont in La Traviata, Don Alfonso in La Favorita, Rigoletto in Rigoletto with West Side Opera Society, Paquiro in Goyescas with Bare Opera and Marcello in La Boheme with New York Lyric Opera Theater. Also, he has sung roles as Don Giovanni in Don Giovanni, Escamillo in Carmen, Tonio in I Pagliacci, Conte di Luna in IL Trovatore, Speaker in Magic Flute, Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor with Tri-Cities Opera. Additionally, he sang Elijah in Elijah with Binghamton University Symphony Orchestra and University Choir, King Balthazar in Amahl and the Night Visitors in the Binghamton University Opera. Faure Requiem in Midsummer Dream Music Festival, Quebec in Canada. His previous oratorio solo appearances include Bach Cantata “BWV 82, Ich habe genug”, Weber Messe in G-dur, Mozart Coronation Mass, Händel Messiah, Beethoven Symphony 9. His Carnegie Hall (Isaac Stern Auditorium) debut was as a Bass solo in Faure’s Requiem with MidAmerica Production on May. 28, 2016.
