Gianna Macedon

Gianna Macedon is a mezzo-soprano with a very wide vocal range. In 2019 she played Spirit Number 2 in The Magic Flute with the Washington National Opera. In 2022, she participated in the Washington National Opera Institute, where she performed Opera Scenes and was part of the making of the The Weird and Wonderful World of Opera YouTube video for the Kennedy Center. She is a rising junior Vocal Performance Major at the University of Notre Dame. Recent Notre Dame performances include a solo in the ND Chorale’s Messiah (2023), Fairytales & Dido & Aeneus with Opera Notre Dame. She also was part of the Opera Theatre of the Rockies Festival in 2024 where she play Hansel and Spirit 3 in various Opera Scenes.
