Spanish tenor Ângel Arévalo is rapidly establishing himself as a compelling and sought-after emerging artist on the European stage. Currently completing his Master’s in Voice at the Conservatorium Maastricht under Professor Axel Everaert, Arévalo is fresh from a series of acclaimed performances that highlight his dynamic presence and vocal promise.
His recent 2024 season underscores his active concert career, featuring a notable solo appearance in the "Jong Talent" series at Brussels Operette Theater, an engagement that showcases his readiness for the international stage. This follows his recognition as a soloist in the prestigious "Solists of the 21st Century" series at Madrid's Reina Sofia School of Music in 2023.
On the operatic front, Arévalo is preparing for the role of Argirio in Tancredi (2025) at the Conservatorium Maastricht. He recently appeared as the Messaggero in La Traviata at the Festival d’Opera de Tarragona, and delivered a standout performance as Ferrando in Così fan tutte in Berlin in 2023. His portrayal of Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi in Berlin earned him the Zenaida Piontkovsky Memorial Scholarship, further evidencing his early acclaim.
Awarded the BBVA Music Award and a multi-year winner of the Tarragona Conservatory's Opera Workshop, Ângel Arévalo represents the vibrant new wave of versatile tenor talent.
