Erica is a classically trained soprano with a range of experience in opera, jazz, jazz improvisation, and musical theatre. She started her vocal training at eleven years old with her beloved teacher Patricia Alexander, mother of acclaimed soprano Renee Fleming till she pursued her undergraduate studies at SUNY Geneseo, where she went onto obtain numerous opportunities including but not limited to singing for composer Jocelyn Hagen, performing as part of Marc Weagraff's Masterclass, being the principle vocal soloist for the SUNY Geneseo Jazzers led by William Tiberio guest soloing with the SUNY Geneseo String band, winning the Geneseo 2022 honors competition, being a member of the SUNY Geneseo chamber singers led by Gerard Floriano, and receiving three consecutive vocal scholarships. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Geneseo, Erica continues to sing with her performing in the Si Parla Si Canta Opera program, being a soloist and member of the Rochester Oratorio Society, soloing for the Mother of Sorrows church and Irondequoit Unitarian Church, performing for the Wegmans Family, and singing for private parties as well as recording her music in the studio. Besides singing, Erica has advanced conversational skills in Italian, beginner level conducting skills, intermediate skills at the piano, and intermediate percussion skills!
