Caroline McDonald is a soprano from Concord, California. She is currently a junior at Carondelet High School and has been participating in theater at her local community theater, award-winning Poison Apple Productions, since she was four and in dance since she was five. Although she is new to singing, only taking voice lessons for the past two years, she has been accepted to participate in the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Summer Vocal Academy this July and has garnered the role of Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes with her high school's theater program. Caroline also performs straight theater and just closed Shakespeare's Macbeth as Lady Macbeth with Poison Apple Productions. She is an avid ensemble singer, as well, performing with the Carondelet High School chamber choir, an audition-based choir, which has one Gold for the the two years at the Anaheim Heritage Music Festival and singing in her local St. Agnes Church Choir. In addition to performing, Caroline also takes a keen interest in history and political science and would like to pursue history, as well as performance in college.
