Bio

Ailey Beatrice Tetrault is a sophomore at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts. She is a Music – Vocal Major, Soprano, and is currently studying under Ken Taylor. Ailey is deeply invested in refining her technique and performance skills. Her love for opera and singing, dedication, and hard work has afforded her the ability to perform in school performances, recitals, competitions, and theatrical productions.

Ailey has been singing choral music since kindergarten and is a member of Young Singers of the Palm Beaches (YSPB) professional children’s community choir, currently entering her tenth year performing with YSPB at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. Her choir experience also includes singing with the Palm Beach Opera as a cast and children’s ensemble member (Tosca 2024, Carmen 2022, and Turandot 2020), and Palm Beach Symphony in a Holiday Television Special on PBS (2022), and Emmy ®nominated Eudora’s Fable: The Shoe Bird (2021).

Other choral experience includes Carnegie Hall – National Masterwork Chorus, presented by National Concerts (2024), University of Miami - Frost School of Music High School Honor Choir with Sydney Guillaume (2024), FMEA All-State Reading Choir (2025), FMEA All-State Mixed Choir (2023), and FMEA All-State Treble Choir (2022). In addition, Ailey has taken part in American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) SATB High School Honor Choir (Orlando, FL 2024), Youth SATB Honor Choir (Louisville, KY 2024), Advanced Treble Honor Choir (Raleigh, NC 2022), and Children’s Honor Choir (Mobile, AL 2020).

Last summer, Ailey was the youngest musician to be selected to participate in the Daniel Ferro Vocal Program in Greve in Chianti, Italy where she had the privilege of working with a diverse and talented group of world renowned faculty. She shared a stage with incredible talent and performed numerous recitals.

She also enjoys attending performances and masterclasses as a source of inspiration. Ailey is a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society, the Founder/President of DSOA Opera Club, and Social Media Manager for the DSOA Neuroscience Club.

Ailey competed as a Finalist at South Florida Kids Got Talent Competition and as a Finalist and Prize Winner at Butler University’s Vocal Competition (BUVC). She is the recipient of the 2024-2025 Most Outstanding Sophomore Award in the Vocal Department at A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts. Ailey aspires to pursue a career in classical and opera singing with dreams of performing on renowned opera stages around the world.
