Tia Lempert is a Mezzo Soprano and an actor based in Oregon. She attends Oregon State University and is currently working towards obtaining her undergraduate degree; a bachelors of music in music education, with a minor in vocal performance. She worked professionally in Portland with the Northwest Children's Theatre, and got training there and at the Oregon Children's Theatre as well. Currently, she is taking voice lessons with Professor Amy Hansen at Oregon State University. Most recently, she played Adele in OSU's production of 'Die Fledermaus'. Other notable roles include Susan Waverly in 'White Christmas', Little Becky Two Shoes in 'Urinetown', and the snipe in Northwest Children's Theatre's production of 'Peter Pan'. One of her most recent accomplishments is competing in the semi-finals of NATS for musical theatre performance in the lower college treble category. She hopes to attend graduate school in the future to study performance, and hopes to pursue a career as a performer.
