Soprano, Tia Lempert, is a singer and an actor based in Portland, Oregon with an expected Bachelors in Music, Spring 2024. She has trained with some of the top theatre companies in the Northwest. Studying voice with Amy Hansen at Oregon State University, Tia recently starred as Adele in their production of Fledermaus, as well as Hansel in scenes from Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretl, and Mercedes in Bizet’s Carmen. Other notable roles include Susan Waverly in White Christmas, Little Becky Two Shoes in Urinetown, and the Snipe in Northwest Children’s Theatre’s Peter Pan. Last Spring in San Francisco at the National Classical Singer Convention, Tia won second in her division for musical theatre performance. She consistently receives high accolades from NATS in both musical theatre and classical categories.
