Bio

Tiara Abraham is a 17-year-old soprano. In Fall 2023, she will be a second year master’s student majoring in vocal performance at Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University, where she studies voice with Patricia Stiles. She began her classical voice training at 7-years-old with her first voice teacher, Kate Murphy, and trained for 5 years with her. In Fall 2020, as the youngest University Regents Scholar, 14-year-old Tiara transferred to University of California Davis, as a 3rd year undergrad. She graduated in 2022 with summa cum laude in Bachelor of Arts in Music (vocal performance).

Tiara has sung with several choirs including the Jacobs School of Music's University Singers at Indiana University, UC Davis University Chorus, UC Davis Chamber Singers, Schola Cantorum of Sacred Heart Church, Sacramento and the DC-based choir, The Washington Chorus. She is a choral scholar at the First Christian Church, Bloomington. She has been a soloist in these choirs. Her most memorable performances include singing as a 10-year-old soloist at the Stern Auditorium in Carnegie Hall, NYC, singing as a 12-year-old soloist at Vatican, Musikverein Austria, and performing the National Anthem twice for San Francisco Giants for about 30,000 people as a 13-year-old. In addition to being the winner of the 2022 UC Davis Concerto Competition, Tiara has won several national and international vocal competitions. She made her orchestral debut in 2022 under the baton of Maestro Christian Baldini with the Camellia Symphony Orchestra’s “Operatic Rising Stars” concert.

Apart from her inborn vocal talents, Tiara plays the piano and is also learning the violin.

Though she is recognized as a soprano prodigy and is a member of the high IQ society, Mensa, Tiara credits her family for the support she gets in her musical and educational journey. Her dream is to become a world famous singer and recording artist and help others with philanthropy. Tiara’s wish is to bring joy to people's lives with her voice and singing.

Tiara can be reached via her social media handle @sopranotiara on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for performance requests and recording projects.
