Bio

Kaiya Miller, soprano, is currently working to achieve a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at Oregon State University and has studied with many teachers in singing, acting, and dancing, including her current voice teacher and soprano, Amy Hansen.

Kaiya has performed in a variety of different productions in roles such as Yvonne and Naomi in Sunday in the Park with George, Sally Brown in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Mayzie LaBird in Seussical: The Musical, and has sung the roles of Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor, Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro, Monica in The Medium, Sandmann in Hansel und Gretel, and Une chasseuresse in Hippolyte et Aricie in various opera showcase scenes at Oregon State University. Kaiya is also frequently a soprano soloist for the Guitar Ensemble at Oregon State, performing various works ranging from Baroque art songs to modern pieces by composers such as Joe Hisaishi. She is seen frequently performing recitals in her local community and university and recently was awarded as a finalist for the NATS Cascade Chapter. You can also catch her at the beloved Enchanted Forest in Salem, Oregon during holiday breaks, where she is a comedy musical theatre actor on the mainstage.
