Bio

Tenor, David Ingram, is a recent graduate from the University of Arizona, receiving his Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance after studying with Dr. Andrew Stuckey. With singing experience all over the globe, Mr. Ingram has performed opera across the Midwest with Lawrence Opera theater, as well as performing in his home state of Arizona with The University of Arizona’s Opera Theater in Tucson as well as Arizona Opera in Phoenix. As a member of ensembles, Mr. Ingram has performed across the world, in places as far as Beijing and Shanghai and closer to home at Carnegie Hall in New York. His most recent performances were his Senior Recital last December, where he performed works by Britten, Schubert, and Faure, and last spring he was a member of the chorus in Arizona Opera’s production of Puccini’s La Boheme. Mr. Ingram was born and raised in Tucson, AZ and first started with music in the public school system. Mr. Ingram plans to continue his studies and receive a graduate degree in Opera Performance before tackling a post-pandemic opera world. His ultimate goal is to become a professor at a prestigious school and help keep the rich tradition of opera music alive by helping train the next generation of opera singer.
