Bio

SIANI JOHNSON, Soprano, is a Junior in the Bachelor of Music Education Degree Program and is on track to graduate May 2021. Ms. Johnson has recently had successful performances as a solo artist at KSU's MLK, Jr. Assembly, resulting in an invitation from Senator Gerald A. Neal to sing at the Black History Celebration in the Rotunda of Frankfort's Capitol. Siani is also a recent finalist in the NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) vocal competition. Ms. Johnson is a member of the Teacher Education Committee in the School of Education and had the honor of being invited to accompany a delegation from the School of Education on an all-expense-paid trip to the NABSE (National Alliance of Black School Educators) conference in Dallas, Texas.

Ms. Johnson has been the featured artist in the 2018 and 2019 spring GALAs presented by the Opera/Musical Theatre Workshop at Kentucky State University, Frankfort, Kentucky. Additionally, Siani has been a voice student of Dr. Caroline Gibson since her freshman year.
