I can't remember a time when I was not involved in singing. However, after performing in the chorus of Opera Maine's Tosca and Carmen when I was young, I became very focused on my pursuit of singing. Since the age of nine, I have been taking voice lessons and have been fortunate to have some fantastic teachers and mentors in my life. I am equally comfortable singing musical theatre material as well as classical. I have a passion for acting and storytelling through music and enjoy taking on serious pieces and more comedic pieces from operetta. I also act in plays and find myself drawn to the entire process of theatre and opera production. I worked with a group of writers to create the libretto for the chamber opera Girl in Six Beats, Daniel Sonenberg. I constantly push myself to grow as an artist and seek opportunities to challenge myself, such as competitions, ensembles, and masterclasses. I will attend Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University in the fall of 2023.
