Bio

Natalja is a Latvian-born Mezzo Soprano from Boston, Massachusetts. Over seven seasons (‘09-‘17) as a Young Artist with the Latvian National Opera & Ballet Natalja appeared in Opera Houses across Europe, sharing the stage with Opera greats such as Jonas Kaufman, the legendary Russian Mezzo Elena Obraztsova as well as fellow Latvians Kristine Opolais, Marina Rebekka and Elina Garanca.

Debuting as a soloist and recitalist in the United States in 2018, she has become a favorite performer of concert audiences around the US for her enchanting persona, musical instinct and intelligent interpretations of popular arias and crossover music. Noted for her ‘full-voice performance throttling to beautiful heights with a full range of color’ she is presently coached by Maestro Paolo DiNapoli (Florence, Italy) and Thomas Jones (Harvard Office of the Arts, Cambridge MA).

Natalja holds a Bachelor Degree in Vocal Performance from Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music as well as a BSc in Information Technology and a MSc in IT Engineering, both from Riga Technical University in Latvia.
