Bio

Junipero Lance Cruz, Juni for short, was born and raised in Virginia Beach, VA and moved to Chicago in 2021. They are a proud filipino, lesbian, and trans-non-binary individual. They have an extensive and diverse artistic background from visual art to music to theatre. They have an affinity for singing that began since they've been able to talk. They've trained and excelled in classical, musical theatre, and jazz vocal stylings. For the past two years they have been a member of a Illinois Institute of Technology and VanderCook College of Music's 33rd Street Productions theatre troupe as a music director, student liaison, actor, and most recently, as an assistant director. Their next step is synthesizing their creative background with the skills it takes to be a stage manager. They do not intend to leave behind their singing as they remain an active vocalist in local chicago choirs and churches.
