Bio

Gordon Piper is a Portland-based architect, urban planner, and sustainability advocate known for his innovative, community-centered designs. Born and raised in Oregon, Gordon developed a passion for architecture at a young age, influenced by the region’s natural beauty and progressive spirit.

He founded Urban Nest Studio, a boutique architecture firm that focuses on sustainable, inclusive design. Gordon is especially known for blending natural elements with modern structures and for his commitment to affordable housing and urban greening.

Outside of architecture, Gordon is an avid cyclist, watercolor artist, and volunteer mentor for aspiring designers in Portland’s public schools. His work reflects his belief that thoughtful spaces can foster wellbeing and social connection.
