Mariana Carnovali is a distinguished opera singer and cultural manager with extensive international experience, recognized for her contributions to the cultural scene of Buenos Aires. Trained at the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón, she received the "Revelation" distinction in 2005 from the Argentine Association of Music Critics. In 2008, she received a scholarship from the Mozarteum Argentino to complete her studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Augsburg, Germany.
In 2009, she won a Special Prize at the "Francisco Viñas" International Competition in Barcelona and was part of the Opera Studio at the Zurich Opera House until 2012. She earned a Master's degree in Cultural Management from the University of Zurich, with a scholarship from the same institution. She has been supported by several prestigious scholarships from institutions such as Maria Marta Sanchez de Nuñez, the Teatro Colón Foundation, Juventus Lyrica, and SIAA Lichtenstein. As a cultural manager, she founded the MAIA Festival – Festival for Diversity, presented in Buenos Aires with the support of the City's Ministry of Culture in 2022 and 2024. The festival promotes cultural diversity through music and various events and programs. Mariana specializes in Verdi's repertoire, performing leading roles in La Traviata, Luisa Miller, Nabucco, and Verdi's Requiem.
