Nicholas Hausman

Currently a sophomore, Nick is majoring in performance at the Crane School of Music with concentrations in both voice and violin with Dr. Colleen Skull and Professor Liesel Schoenberg Doty. An avid lover of opera, some of his favorite composers include Mozart, Schubert, Puccini, and Verdi. Nick is honored to have been selected as a Presidential Scholar, researching the music of Puccini. Recent performances with the Crane Opera Ensemble include chorus in Le nozze di Figaro and the Sailor, Aeneas (cover) in Dido and Aeneas. An active member of student organizations, Nick serves as the SUNY- Potsdam student body president and the Treasurer of the Crane Opera Club.
