Bio

Ying Zheng is a mezzo-soprano, MD. in Vocal Music at Mahidol Conservatory of Music, member of Tianjin Musicians Association, specially employed in Tianjin Song and Dance Theatre, Tianjin CPPCC Art Troupe, Inner Mongolia TV Station, specially appointed lecturer of Tianjin Conservatory of Music, and former member of Tianjin Heping District CPPCC. Now she is a lecturer at Hebei University of Technology.

Both bachelor's degree and master's degree graduated from the Vocal Music Department of Tianjin Conservatory of music and studied under the guidance of Professor Jigang Du, a famous tenor in Australia. After graduation, she studied under the famous soprano Mucun Guan and Professor Wei Wang of the Central Conservatory of music. She successfully held her master's graduation solo concert in the Concert Hall of Tianjin Conservatory of Music and was recommended by Tianjin Music Association to participate in the 8th Golden Bell Award of Chinese Music on behalf of Tianjin. She has participated in many performances with the Tianjin CPPCC, Tianjin song and dance theater, and Tianjin Heping District CPPCC as an expression of gratitude or appreciation, and she won the "Tianjin love messenger", "Tianjin clean government literature talent" and other honorary titles. In 2007, she won the third prize and excellent singer award in the 4th Tianjin Staff culture and Art Festival Singer Competition. In 2013, she won the 2nd prize in the 7th Tianjin Staff culture and Art Festival Vocal music Competition. In 2020, she won the Gold Award for the adult group of opera arias and art songs in Tianjin division of Italian international music open,and won the first prize in the Canadian Century Talent International Vocal Competition Opera,won the second prize of the Swiss International Vocal Competition. Many recorded tracks were selected and broadcasted by Tianjin TV station and Tianjin radio station. From 2009 to 2013, she was employed to teach vocal music courses for foreign students in Tianjin Conservatory of Music, and won unanimous praise.
