• • Julia won the 1st Place in Youth Group of the 2022 “US China Superstar” singing contest on May 29, 2022.
• • Julia won the 1st Prize in Voice Junior Talent (age 14 and 15) group of the Beethoven Young Musician Competition on August 15th, 2022.
• • Julia won the 1st Prize in Voice Junior II (Born in 2007/2006) group of the London International Music Competition on July 25th, 2022.
• • Julia won the Grand Prize Nominees in the age 14 to 16 group in the Prodigy International Music Competition on November 28th, 2022.
• • Julia had a soprano solo performance in Universal Peace Center of Houston and won a “Youth Peace Ambassador Award” from UPF headquarters on December 3rd, 2022

Julia Xiao is 16 years old, 11th grade High School student, in Pearland TX U.S.A. She started art and dancing at age 3, piano at age 5 and singing in a choir at age 7. Julia loves to sing both classical and musical theater repertoires. She has actively participated in various cultural performances in the communities since she was very young. Julia has attended a piano music summer camp in Prague and Moscow in 2019. In addition, she has been giving performances in person or recorded videos online for seniors in nursing homes with Music of Harmony (MOH) and We Care Non-profit organization’s other volunteers every month since 2019.

Large Formal Performance:

• Julia had a piano summer camp in Prague and Moscow organized by International Music Academy in June and July 2019.

• Julia had a solo vocal performance in the Mother's Day online Concert organized by Hollywood Performing Arts in May 2021.

• Julia had a solo vocal performance in the HBU Belin Chapel Theater organized by the Clemence Youth Foundation (CYF) in February 2022.

• Julia had a vocal duet in CCC Embrace Spring 10th Anniversary Celebration Gala in Stafford Centre Theater on January 23, 2022.

• Julia attended 2022 Art of Opera Camp in Houston Grand Opera and performed as a soprano solo role, Trixie in Opera THE IMPRESARIO OF OZ (Art of Opera Camp presents a world premiere opera by Mark Buller and Anthony Silvestri) in HSPVA theater in July 2022.

• Julia had a soprano solo performance in the Liberty Festival organized by Sharps town Civic Association on July 4th, 2021 and 2022.

• Julia had sung the American national anthem at the Chinese National Day Flag Raising Ceremony, organized by the Chinese Civic Center for the Asian American community on October 1st, 2022.

• Julia had sung the American national anthem at the 18th World Xiangqi Championship Open Ceremony, organized by the World Xiangqi Federation on November 19th, 2023.

• Julia had a soprano solo performance in Music of Harmony 7th Annual Young Artist Benefit Concert in Katy Living Word Lutheran Church on1/5/2024
