Madeleine is a junior with a passion for storytelling through music, character, and community. She has performed in over 30 full-scale productions, playing more than 20 principal roles. Favorite roles include Elle Woods (Legally Blonde), Regina George (Mean Girls), Donna Sheridan (Mamma Mia!), Marty (Grease), and Toffee (Zombie Prom). She has also originated roles in new musicals developed with composers and expanded her perspective through assistant directing.
She currently serves as Vice President of Vocal Ensemble at her school, as an appointed member of the Poly Arts Student Council and Ambassador Council, and was selected to represent her school to perform with the CAIS Honors Music Festival Choir.
Outside of school, she is committed to building community through encouraging appreciation and access to the arts. She founded The Speech Collective, a nonprofit that connects teen volunteers with young students to build confidence in public speaking through performance-based workshops held at local libraries. She has also been invited to sing as a soloist or in duets for more than 25 cabarets and benefit concerts in support of organizations such as Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Malignant Hyperthermia awareness, and The Actors Fund. She is a proud alumna of The Second City Hollywood Teen Troupe and has earned a 4.0 unweighted GPA in a rigorous academic program including multiple AP courses.
