Cristina Rosheger is a young soprano from the Chicagoland area. She is in her second year at DePaul University School of Music where she studies with Dr. Lina DiFiore. Her past voice teachers were Nicole Cabell, Carl Lawrenz, and Cynthia Mace. This July, Cristina will be performing the role of Pamina from Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte with Chicago Summer Opera. She sang the role of Alice from Verdi’s Falstaff in March of 2022 with Maestro Emanuele Andrizzi, and Giunone from Cavalli’s La Calisto conducted by Jason Moy in November of 2021, both with DePaul Opera Theatre and director Harry Silverstein. Cristina has also had the opportunity to sing masterclasses with soprano Janai Brugger and Virginia Opera Artistic Director Adam Turner. Cristina also plays concert percussion and piano, and grew up in a musical household. Cristina credits her parents’ undying support with her success in following her passion.
