Maryn Quimby is a rising senior at The Comenius School in Franklin, TN. She was recognized as the 2025 Talent Winner for the Distinguished Young Women of Music City, where she performed before a panel of industry professionals. Selected as a TN All-State High School Singer by CSMusic, Maryn has advanced to the second round of CSMusic’s Vocal Competition in Chicago. An active member of Nashville’s chapter of CYT (Christian Youth Theater), she has been recognized with an Outstanding Ensemble Award as well as the Noah Brave Foundation Character Award, in addition to performing the lead role of “Kim” in Bye Bye Birdie.
In the winter of 2024, Maryn made her opera debut as a soloist with Franklin Light Opera. During this showcase she was offered an opportunity to train under the guidance of Lipscomb University vocal instructor, Shelley Schneider. She also works part time as a session singer in Nashville, working on various Broadway Jr. recordings produced by MTI and Disney Theatrical, as well as projects for CM Worship and Q Productions.
As a Merit Scholar, Maryn will attend Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts in the Summer of 2025 as a featured soprano. She also recently attended TN Thescon for high school students, where she studied in various Masterclasses. Invited to volunteer with Backlight Productions, Maryn enjoys working on stage, alongside adults with IDD as they perform full length Broadway Musicals.
