Olivia Gonzales is a Mexican/Uruguayan-American soprano currently in her senior year at the Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas.

She is a member of the Houston Grand Opera Bauer Family High School Voice Studio and studies with soprano Alicia Gianni. She has been nationally recognized by organizations like the YoungArts Foundation, Hal Leonard Vocal Competition, CS Music Competition, and Schmidt Vocal Competition amongst others. Olivia has also participated in masterclasses with renowned artists Richard Bado, Nicole Heaston, Christopher Michele, Lisa Vickers, Cynthia Clayton, James Rodriguez, and Jamie van Eyck.

An avid collaborator and cross genre artist, Olivia frequently enjoys singing in contemporary styles such as pop, jazz, and musical theater in addition to classical. Most recently she has taken an interest in 20th and 21st century classical music, however she continually strives to highlight underrepresented composers throughout her musical studies.
