Viktoryia Katerynchyk was born in 1988 in Rivne, Ukraine. She has graduated from Rivne music college (with honors) and later from Rivne University of Culture. In the period from 2009 to 2014 she studied in Rimski-Korsakov Conservatory (Saint-Petersburg, Russia). In 2014 to 2016 she post-graduated in the same Conservatory. Viktoryia participated in the stages of the Conservatory Theatre, such as “Iolanta” of Chaikovsky, “Tsarskaya nevesta” of Rimsky-Korsakov.
Viktoriya participated in the stages and tours of the Mariinsky Theatre, such as “Mayskaja noch”, “Noch pered rozhdestvom” by Rimsky-Korsakov, “Sorochyskaja Yarmarka”, “Salambo” by Musorgsky, “Don Quihot” by Massnet.
Viktoryia participated in national and international vocal competitions, such as 2008 “Artek Stars”, 2012 “Saint-Petersburg”, 2016 “Volshebnaya Feeriya (first prize), 2017 Ada Sari International Vocal Artistry Festival and Competition and most recently in 2018 “European Community” Competition for Young Opera Singers- 72nd Edition (semifinalist), 2018 International Opera Vocal Competition of Gabriela Benackova (finalist), Zloty Glosy International Vocal Competition, Poland, 2019 (special price - Nagroda Specjalna Oddzialu ZASP w Warszawie), VIII Concorso Lirico Internazionale Magda Olivero, Italy, Milan, 2019.
Training: She is supervised by Ms. Olga Pasichnyk. Viktoriya is awarded a 2019 Gaude Polonia scholarship and worked with pianist, voice coach and artistic director Giulio Zappa ( Italy, Milan 2019) also with Nelly Miricioiu (Romania, Slobozia 2021)
