Jameson ELTON

My name is Jameson Elton. My artistic career started when I was cast in a musical at age 9; I have never stopped loving art. Around the same time, I started taking vocal lessons, and now I have been with my teacher, Steven Mortier, for 7 years. My exposure to music theory and piano playing started in my sophomore choral ensemble. It helped me to better understand harmony and collaboration with others, a skill I’m constantly using in theatre and dance. Since then, I became a 2020 YoungArts Winner for Popular Voice and have been in many plays & musicals. As I graduate high school in ‘21 and grow into adulthood, I look forward to exploring a career in the arts.
