A man mugs Sam, and Sam is shot dead. Sam becomes a ghost and struggles to communicate with Molly while adjusting to the idea of being a ghost. Carl helps Molly clear out some of Sam?s things, and after he leaves, Sam?s killer enters the apartment and starts to burglarize it. Sam scares him away and follows him, discovering that his name is Willie and he was looking for something in Sam?s apartment. Sam contacts a psychic named Oda Mae Brown who convinces Molly that she?s in contact with Sam. Sam tells Molly, via Oda Mae, that he was set-up and murdered, and Oda Mae leaves out of fear of speaking with the police. Molly tells Carl, and Sam discovers that Carl accidentally set up his murder. Molly discovers that Oda Mae has a heavy criminal record of being a fraud, and goes home to do some pottery to relax. Carl arrives and tries to flirt with her, which angers Sam enough to break something. Sam develops his telekinetic skills as Oda Mae?s reputation as a psychic grows. Willie tries to kill Oda Mae but Sam scares him into oncoming traffic. Oda Mae breaks into the account that Carl was embezzling from with Sam?s help and Sam scares Carl in his office. Carl threatens Sam with the possibility of killing Molly and Sam convinces Oda Mae to donate the money from the account to charity. "Oh, my love, my darling,
I've hungered for your touch
A long, lonely time.
Time goes by so slowly
And time can do so much -
Are you still mine?
I need your love.
I need your love.
God speed your love to me.

Lonely rivers flow
To the sea, to the sea,
To the open arms of the sea.
Lonely rivers sigh
""Wait for me, wait for me,
I'll be coming home, wait for me.""

Oh, my love, my darling,
I've hungered, for your touch
A long, lonely time.
Time goes by so slowly
And time can do so much.
Are you still mine?
I need your love,
I need your love,
God speed your love to me.
Lonely mountains gaze
At the stars, at the stars,
Waiting for the dawn of the day.

All alone I gaze
At the stars, at the stars,
Dreaming of my love far away.

Oh, my love, my darling
I've hungered for your touch
A long, lonely time.
Time goes by so slowly
And time can do so much.
Are you still mine?
I need your love,
I need your love,
God speed your love to me."
