Christine introduces the Phantom to her musically gifted son Gustave and the Phantom realizes that Gustave is his son. Raoul finds out that the Phantom has invited them and asks Christine if they can leave Coney Island. The Phantom taunts Raoul and then tells him that if Christine sings on the final night of the season, she will belong to him, but if not, Raoul can have her. Raoul leaves for Paris, but Gustave is missing, and The Phantom believes that Raoul took the child with him. Fun Facts:
1) This musical was created as a sequel to Andrew Lloyd Webber's blockbuster musical The Phantom of the Opera, based on Gaston Leroux's novel of the same name.
2) Sierra Boggess originated the role Christine in Love Never Dies, and described her as "an interesting woman that she can fall in love the way that she does with both the Phantom and Raul, two very different types of people; she has that artistic passion for the Phantom and to be able to understand him."
3) Boggess had to opportunity to play older Christine years after playing Christine in Phantom of the Opera and a few years before playing the role in the 25th Anniversary concert. She said in an interview with Female First that "this is a character that I have been living with for quite some time and I loved getting to play her ten years later. I could bring some of the more mature? from what I know of what is going to happen I could bring some of that to playing her again for the 25th anniversary - knowing that she gets stronger."

"Who knows when love begins?
Who knows what makes it start?
One day it's simply there,
Alive inside your heart.

It slips into your thoughts,
It infiltrates your soul,
It takes you by surprise,
Then seizes full control.

Try to deny it
And try to resist,
But love won't let you go
Once you've been possessed.

Love never dies.
Love never falters.
Once it has spoken,
Love is yours.

Love never fades.
Love never alters.
Hearts may get broken -
Love endures.
Hearts may get broken -
Love endures,

And soon as you submit,
Surrender flesh and bone,
That love takes on a life
Much bigger than your own.

It uses you at whim
And drives you to despair
And forces you to feel
More joy than you can bear.

Love gives you pleasure
And love brings you pain,
And yet when both are gone,
Love will still remain.

Once it has spoken,
Love is yours.
Love never dies.
Love never alters.

Hearts may get broken -
Love endures.
Hearts may get broken -
Love never dies.
Love will continue.
Love keeps on beating
When you're gone.

Love never dies
Once it is in you.
Life may be fleeting -
Love lives on.
Life may be fleeting -
Love lives on."
