Kilden Theatre

Kilden Vokalensemble (KVE) is the only professional vocal ensemble in Southern Norway, and has played a central role in the region's music scene for many years. The ensemble is closely linked to Kilden Opera and Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra , and regularly participates in opera, oratorio and symphonic productions in Kilden.

In addition, KVE produces its own a cappella concerts with a wide range of genres and high artistic quality.

Under artistic director Marit Tøndel Bodsberg, the ensemble has developed a clearer artistic profile and strengthened its expression. KVE presents productions that challenge and develop – both in terms of repertoire and concert form.

The ensemble's goal is to convey vocal music at a high level, with a distinctive character that reflects both tradition and contemporary times. KVE is also an important competence carrier in the region , and actively collaborates with choirs of all ages to strengthen the broad choral life in Agder.
