Grand Theatre de Geneve

The Grand Théâtre de Genève (GTG) is one of the most important opera and ballet theaters in Europe. Each season, it presents around a hundred opera, ballet, recitals and concerts and welcomes nearly a hundred thousand spectators. The GTG employs more than 300 permanent staff, combining a wide variety of artistic, administrative and technical professions, as well as craftsmen with multiple specialties. In addition to the many guest artists, it has a professional choir and a ballet troupe, which performs in Geneva and around the world. The excellence of its achievements have earned it the title of Opera of the Year 2020 by the reference magazine Opernwelt, thus contributing to the cultural influence of Geneva in Switzerland and abroad.
