Contract: permanent with a one-year trial period

February: February 5-6, 2026

Requirements:

- higher education in singing from a recognised institution

- experience in opera, musical theatre and concert repertoire as a soloist and as a chorister

- good sight-singing abilities in music and languages

- ability to memorise music quickly

- good acting skills and stage experience

Audition repertoire:

- by memory, one compulsory aria from the list below:

• Wagner: Weiche Wotan, Weiche! (Das Rheingold)

OR

• Kienzl: O schöne Jugendtage (Der Evangelimann)

OR

• Tchaikovsky: Podrugi milyye (Pique Dame)

- opera/oratorio aria/lied in two different languages

- compulsory chorus excerpts - candidates selected for audition will be informed of these excerpts at the time of invitation. These excerpts are not required to be from memory.
