Drury University’s Department of Music and Theatre invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Music position, serving as Director of Choral Activities beginning in Fall 2026. We seek a skilled and collaborative choral music educator to recruit and lead a vibrant choral program within a liberal arts context.

Required Qualifications:

* Earned doctorate in music, music education, or a related field (Ph.D. or D.M.A.); ABD considered if degree is conferred by August 2026.

* Demonstrated excellence in choral conducting and rehearsal leadership.

* Evidence of effective teaching at the post-secondary level or strong potential for success.

* Record or promise of scholarly/creative productivity, including conference presentations, publications, and innovative programming.
