Description
The School of Music at Texas State University seeks an engaging, creative, collaborative, and dedicated teacher/scholar to serve as a tenure-line Assistant Professor of Voice.
Required Qualifications
* Doctorate in vocal performance or related field (must be completed by August 16, 2026), or equivalent professional experience.
* Documented ability and success in training voices of all types and developmental levels at the collegiate level.
* Experience teaching diction, song literature, opera literature, and/or vocal pedagogy.
* A record of achievement in vocal performance and demonstrated potential for further professional growth.
* Potential for success in student recruitment.
* Experience working with individuals from varied backgrounds.
Tenor voice type preferred, but all voice types considered.
