Texas Woman's University is seeking an Assistant Professor - Voice - School of Arts & Design - Music.
The successful candidate will join TWU's vibrant music faculty in preparing music students for 21st century careers. The Division of Music has an enrollment of approximately 275 music majors. Bachelor’s degrees are offered in music education, music therapy, musical theatre, performance and liberal arts. Additionally, master’s degrees are offered in music education, music therapy, performance, and instrumental, piano, or vocal pedagogy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1: Hold a terminal degree in Voice or Musical Theatre; non-terminal degrees considered with extensive professional experience
2: Evidence of successful teaching at the college/university level
3: Experience with innovative and engaging teaching strategies that focus on the needs of 21st century students
