Church of The Good Samaritan

Church of the Good Samaritan in Paoli, PA has openings for ALTO and TENOR section leader positions, beginning 2026. The semi-professional Adult Choir is about 30 singers, including a paid octet. We sing on Sunday mornings, typically at one Sunday evening service per month (Compline or Evensong), plus occasional events like Lesson and Carols and holidays. Good Sam is a large and thriving Episcopal parish, this year celebrating its 150th Anniversary. We sing interesting rep in a positive environment!

Pay is $100 per call, and over the course of the season, section leaders could expect to make $10-11k.

We are seeking professional singers with choral experience, solid sight-reading abilities, and enthusiastic musicianship. Rehearsals are Thursday nights 7:00-9:00 PM. Sunday morning service is at 9:00 AM, with an 8:15 rehearsal. Evenings and special services vary. The 25/26 season runs through early June, and the Sunday schedule remains the same through the summer as well, without mid-week rehearsals.
