Bio

A student of Dr. Terrie Sanders at Northwestern State University since August of 2023 and former student of Liesl Cruz at Cruz Vocal Studio in Shreveport, LA who started singing in choir at age 9 and began studying solo voice in 2020. She is currently in college at Northwestern State University pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. She is a cantor at The Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She is a former soloist, cantor, and chorister at the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans in Shreveport, LA and has sung for the High Holy Days at B'Nai Zion Congregation for the last three years as a member of an octet where she was also a soloist. She is also a member of the Northwestern University Chamber Singers, the Northwestern University Choral Artists, and Cane River Singers. Her opera debut was in October of 2023 in Gian Carlo Menotti’s The Medium in the role of Mrs. Gobineau and roles include Despina in Mozart’s Cosi fan Tutte in the Spring of 2024, Adele in Strauss' Die Fledermaus in the Fall of 2024, and Miss Pinkerton in Menotti's Old Maid and the Thief in the Spring of 2025 with the Northwestern State University Opera Theater under the direction of Dr. Robert Cardwell. She intends to pursue a professional career in opera.
