Benjamin South

Benjamin South is an upcoming junior at the University of North Alabama where he is pursuing a B.M. in Voice Performance. He has spent the past two summers studying his craft at the LSU Choral Conducting Symposium and the West Chester University Conducting Institute. He is very excited to further his training this summer by attending the NYU Classical Voice Intensive!

At UNA, he is a member of Collegiate Singers and Chamber Choir at UNA, and he serves as a section leader in both of these ensembles. Benjamin works as the Assistant Conductor of Opera and Musical Theatre at UNA, and he has served as Assistant Music Director of UNA Summer Theatre this past summer. As an arranger, he has sold his music for choir to high schools, universities, and community choirs both domestically and internationally.
