Bio

Zoey Rae age 16, a Broadway Dreamer made her debut in 2020 in the first ever Broadway home recorded Audiobook "d' illusion Houdini the Musical" under the direction of Composer/Writer Balint Varga of NYC. Zoey is an established actress singer/musician and lead Vocalist performing with her 2023 MAMA (Modesto Area Music Awards) winning best Blue Collar/Rock band throughout her hometown of Modesto, CA. the central valley and east bay. She also performs solo and with special guest as Zoey Rae & Co. in a more intimate setting. At age 13 she won the 2021 MAMA Award for Best Unplugged Singer. She started performing with live bands under Darin Morris at Valley Music Institute in 2018 and has loved performing live since then. In 2019 she again was the youngest at age 11 a finalist at the 10th Anniversary Valley Talent Project, double award winner taking home the prize for Best Female Vocal Talent and Musical Theatre. Zoey has been performing in Community Theatre since age 6, it began with Yes Company under Melanee Wyatt and continued with Playhouse Merced, Modesto Performing Arts, Phoenix Creative Collective and The MAC. She was a student of the Summer Opera InstituteI under Opera Modesto and has had formal training by International Opera singer Annalisa Winberg where she shared her professional debut in The Magic Flute. She plays Guitar, piano and studies Harp with Margie Butler and The Central Valley Youth Harp Ensemble. In 2020 she solely represented Stanislaus County at the statewide CISC Arts Symposium. She is thankful to have the support of her family and mentors and thrives to fulfill her career in Music.
