Emily Thompson

Emily Thompson is a 20 year old soprano who just finished her third year as a voice performance major at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. She is a student of soprano Marcy Stonikas, and was in Florida State Opera's outreach production of Hansel and Gretel as Mother and the ensemble of the unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19 Berlioz's Béatrice et Bénédict this spring semester. She is currently in the process of looking for and applying to graduate schools so she can continue her studies in voice performance. She was accepted into the AIMS program this year, but unfortunately couldn't attend due to the pandemic, attended the CoOPERAtive program in Summer of 2019, and the Red River Lyric Opera Summer Festival in the Summer of 2018.
